Live projections and IDP rankings are here.

By Erin Cheng · June 15, 2026 · 4 min read

Two new boards went live today, and both refresh every morning from open data — not from a spreadsheet someone updates when they remember to. The projections board gives you an age-adjusted per-game forecast for the top 200 dynasty assets. The IDP top-100 finally puts defenders on the same daily-refresh footing as the offensive side. Here's exactly how each one is built, because a projection you can't audit is just a guess with a logo on it.

The projection model, in one line

ppg_projected = prior_season_ppg × age_curve_factor

Prior-season PPG comes from nflverse, summed across roles so a rushing quarterback or a pass-catching back gets full credit for everything they do. Rookies with no prior usage get a position-mean baseline so the board never shows a hollow zero next to a first-round pick.

The age-curve factor is where dynasty actually lives. It sits at 1.0 inside each position's peak window and decays linearly outside it — gently on the young side (−4% per year, because the upside is still arriving) and harder on the aged side (−7% per year, because decline compounds). Peak windows: QB 28–32, RB 24–27, WR 26–29, TE 27–30. The full weight table lives on the methodology page.

What this means in practice: a 23-year-old coming off a strong rookie year gets a small discount versus his raw numbers, because he's projected against his eventual peak — and a 31-year-old running back coming off a great season gets a steeper one. That's the dynasty lens redraft sites don't apply.

IDP, scored the way leagues actually score it

The defensive board uses the standard IDP rulebook — solo tackle 1.5, assist 0.75, sack 4, interception 6, forced fumble 4, defensive touchdown 6, plus pass-defended and QB-hit credit. Every defender with at least four games and twenty points makes the pool, then they're ranked by total fantasy points. If your league starts IDP, this is the board that tells you whether your LB2 is actually an every-week starter or a tackle-empty name.

How to use them together

Cross-reference. The projections board links each player to their dynasty rank and value, so you can spot the gaps — a player projected for a top-12 finish who's still going outside the top 24 in startup ADP is your buy. Pair it with the live dynasty rankings and the trade calculator and you've got the full picture: what a player is worth, what he's projected to do, and what it takes to get him.

New player news desk too — injuries and tagged headlines now sit on the news page and the homepage, so the inputs that move these projections show up the same day they break.

Methodology

Both boards are built from open data (nflverse) and rebuild daily at 06:00 UTC. Full scoring weights and the age-curve table are documented on /methodology. No paywall, no betting partners, no black box.
