Dynasty TE rankings for May 2026 — why TE Premium reshuffles the position and the post-McBride cliff.
Tight end is the most format-sensitive position in dynasty fantasy. A TE Premium league (+0.5 PPR for tight ends) lifts the top eight TEs by 18-24% in value. Bowers, McBride and LaPorta in TE Premium move into top-15 overall — without the bonus they're mid-WR2 territory.
| SF # | Player | Age | TE rank | SF value |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 39 | Brock Bowers TE · LV | 23.4 | TE1 | 4,299 |
| 40 | Trey McBride TE · ARI | 26.5 | TE1 | 4,279 |
| 55 | Sam LaPorta TE · DET | 25.4 | TE7 | 3,072 |
| 56 | Colston Loveland TE · CHI | 22.1 | TE3 | 3,065 |
| 64 | Tyler Warren TE · IND | 24 | TE4 | 2,655 |
| 68 | Harold Fannin Jr. TE · CLE | 21.8 | TE5 | 2,232 |
| 69 | Tucker Kraft TE · GB | 25.5 | TE5 | 2,216 |
| 78 | Kyle Pitts Sr. TE · ATL | 25.6 | TE8 | 1,715 |
| 84 | Dalton Kincaid TE · BUF | 26.6 | TE13 | 1,415 |
| 90 | Kenyon Sadiq TE · NYJ | 0 | TE10 | 1,249 |
The McBride/Bowers cliff
After the top 2-3 TEs, value drops sharply. TE7 trades at 40-50% of TE1 in standard PPR. In TE Premium that gap closes to 60-65%, so the position depth matters more.
