The story
Zagallo is the first man to win a World Cup as both player and coach. He won as a player in 1958 and 1962, as head coach in 1970, as assistant coach in 1994, and as technical advisor in 2002. Five trophies in five different roles — a record likely never to be matched. He died in January 2024.
