The story
Appointed interim coach in 2018 with no previous head-coaching experience, Scaloni went on to win Copa América 2021, Finalissima 2022, World Cup 2022 and Copa América 2024 — four trophies in four years. At 44 in Qatar 2022, he became one of the youngest coaches ever to win the World Cup, and his calm management of Messi's final tournament is now studied across the game.
