The story
Home of the NFL's Giants and Jets, MetLife hosts the 2026 World Cup final on July 19. It will also stage one semi-final and group-stage matches. The first World Cup final in the New York metro area; with 82,500 seats it becomes one of the largest WC final venues in modern history.
