The story
The old Wembley (demolished 2003) hosted England's only World Cup final win — Geoff Hurst's hat-trick in the 4-2 extra-time victory over West Germany in 1966. The "did it cross the line?" goal off the crossbar is still debated. The new Wembley opened in 2007 with the same iconic shape and the famous arch.
